Still think they are trying to convince everyone that the Migratory Bird Treaty Act was changed at some point. They just can’t seem to find that change though Chasing ghosts

I don't know, but their Facebook group has 16 frickin Admins, aka, the Goins Disciples. I don't think I've ever seen a group with that many admins.

Thought maybe those clowns were gone, but I guess they are just quiet. Which is still odd...

yeah. Seems they have slowed up a bit. I believe their intentions were good, just not enough steam. Possibly not the best leadership. Who knows

They have gone underground. Trying to figure out how to pull the stakes that keep the nets tethered. Good times coming baws.

Re-visit the other (lengthy) threads about the FFL/FF and you'll see what we've heard about these baws.

Why do People think Going is the leader or guide of that thing blows my mind. I guess he has just been the most outspoken so by default he gets the tag. But yes they have gone silent in a bunch of their dealings, especially from the legislative side. I believe that is legal advice driven at this point. But don't sleep on em. things are moving forward. Money has changed everything in their progress forward.

Maybe because he founded it?

He is considered the head (albeit quieter now) because he started the whole thing. He's only gone quiet(er) because they finally figured out that to gain any traction and any semblance of respectability, Goins could not be the voice just spouting off all over, being confrontational, etc.

It better be pro bono, or else they are going to lose. A startup like FFL going up against the US Federal Government is not going to end well for them. There is just simply no way they have the funding to battle that out in the courts.

They're going to lose anyway. I don't see a lick of evidence to support their claims. Hell, half of what they were spouting a year ago was straight up BS. Maybe their message has changed since then, but I doubt it.

Still kills me how little those guys understand about "Normal Agricultural Practices".

They have done some laughable things and have some laughable statistics and obviously can’t comprehend very well and I can never take them serious nor will I support them

They have been very wrong on their understanding of the migratory bird treaty act. You can now and have always been able to hunt standing flooded crops. Nothing ever changed

All that said, if they were to try and change some rules such as making it not legal to hunt purposely flooded, purposely unharvested crops that would be fine by me

There is nothing that is “normal agriculture practice” about leaving standing corn or beans, unharvested and flooding them

There should be some exceptions with weather extremities not being able to get crops out but it’s not normal to do some of the things that are being done

You are correct. But in that scenario the flooded unharvested crop is a food plot, no different than planted millet, etc. Still legal to hunt.
