Fixing crab traps.

My traps are falling apart after years of use in the salt water. Where do I get parts to repair them? Doors are falling off and latches are coming off. Should I just throw these away and start new or is it worth the time and effort to repair them?

if that is the case then those traps were also illegal besides being rotted out. they made all sorts of rules on escape rings and how traps can be made.
just go buy the new traps, then you know they are legal to todays rules so you wont get a ticket

The investment of time to re-wire old crab traps that are filling apart doesn’t sound cost-effective.
