We just landed in the states from CR. Myself, redneck, and conundrum fished on the fire fly out of Los suenos on Tuesday. This fishing was slow. We caught two sails and a mahi. After speaking to every person we could that looked like they had fished, we got the same story every time. The best day we heard of was 3 sails and a blue. We hoped for more, but Neck and I caught our first sails, so I'm not mad. We had a great trip.
The bigger boats fishing the tournament seem to be running much further and doing better. The standings showed that the fleet caught 500+ billfish yesterday. These aren't Joe charter captain. We ran 55 miles. They have the means and are running a long long way.

Heading to Jaco for a bachelor party, most likely in early July. Of course I want to fish and so far have talked to at least 3 other guys in the group that want to do a full day charter as well. Not sure how the fishing is in the middle of the summer, but I'd like some recommendations on cheap charters that catch fish. Not trying to book a 60' sportfisher just want to catch some Sailfish and some stuff we can cool back at the house .

Go thru JacoVIP, they will be able to set you up with whatever you're looking for.
Eta go thru JacoVIP for you're whole trip, not just fishing.

Stay at their Cielo Azul property. We had 15 guys and everyone had beds. A few of y'all will have to double up I guess, but it's the best location for a bachelor party in Jaco hands down.
