Fishing between Fourchon and Grand Isle along LA1. Target the bridges with a moving tide. Road to Elmer's Island as well.

fish the surf if it's calm on the gulf side. It can be good when conditions allow

Look for bridges and ditches on LA1 with flowing water. Either vudu shrimp under a popping cork or some 3”-4” soft plastic shad on a 1/2 oz jig head. Try several different retrieval tactics with the soft plastics, until you figure out how they want it. Live bait always a good option as well. I find minnows/croakers to be the best live bait.

Elmers Island road is usually good for a red fish or two. And as mentioned if the conditions are right you can really put a smackdown on the trout at the main road bridges. The second of the three has always seemed to be the best to me but all three can be good
I like the Elmers Island road because it's more isolated and you're not parking on the side of the road with cars ripping past you
There's a few other decent places too just drive around and look for something good and give a try
