Fishing Black Bay

Any reports of catching trout? Haven’t been in a couple of months & making a trip on Sunday.

Haven’t been recently but the hotter the temps get, the better black bay gets. I’ve had some of my best speck trips there in July.

I haven't fished it since Mardi Gras Pass opened up. Ive heard evething changed and the trout are now further out towards the islands. And the old spots like Battledore and the Black Tanks don't produce like they used to

We ran thru lake borgne, Biloxi marsh and past the chandeliers, comfort isle last weekend to fish snapper. Me and my buddy were shocked at the lack of people fishing. Think we saw more pogey boats and oyster boats than people fishing.
