Will try to get a few hours in before the weather gets here. Going after smallmouth and redbreast. Very excited

Good luck to everyone headed out tomorrow. Come back and let us know how you did!

Good luck. I’ll be here working on a fence for chickens and my garden.

I wanted to go out on Saturday but the wife is making me cook gumbo for about 35 members of her family. ("Oh honey, It's just a few people.") Good days are few and far between in the spring. Good luck and post the brag pics if you get any.

Picked up a couple of decent largemouth in windy conditions before the storm rolled in. I can tell it is early in the season. Was able to have a clean release on both without removing them from the water.

I do not do a lot of bass fishing, but why the bead on the crank bait?

I have the lure on a quick change swivel. The bead keeps the swivel from entering the rod guide if I retrieve too far.

I had mine last weekend on Toledo Bend. What a fantastic weekend to plan

Didn’t even get a chance to put the boat in and got maybe 3 hours of fishing in. Caught three fish.

Drank 40 beers.

It was windy as all hell yesterday. Fished the parking lot in PAC and pretty sure I did better than most of the boats that I talked too. A red and drum that went about 20” and a solid flounder. Lots of throwback drum. Only fished from noon till 4.

Went to Blind River to check on a buddy's camp...ended up catching 6 bass and several goggle eye all on a humdinger spinnerbait...all released

Thurs night the forecast was calling for 12-15 mph but when I got to the launch it seemed more like 20-25 mph. Only bite all day
