After a couple of bad trips because of river water in Delacroix, my buddy and I launched out of Hopedale Marina and made the run to the eastern edge of the Biloxi Marsh. The water was OK, and we were able to bring in a decent catch of specks. We would have done much better, but some dolphins intervened when we got on them. This trip was on a west wind.

are you the same dude who has posted this in every trout group on facebook over the last 24 hours? Are you trying to send every jackwagon on the gulf to the BM?

not sure, my real beef is with Todd Masson. In an area we literally saw less than 5 other boats in all of last year he posts his stupid article and there are no less than 200 in 2 weekends

Got it.

Just kidding I have actually fished there out of BSL with a friend. Caught a bunch of trout then some tripletail on the way in. That was fun as hell running the crab traps looking for tripletail.

I don't have a problem with the guides because the majority of them know how to operate a boat and are courteous if you are fishing an area. The problem are the idiots that see birds diving/you hooked up and come flying in hot right to the middle of the birds and shut everything off.

At Pitre a few weekends ago there were prolly 7 boats fishing some diving birds. Everyone was trolling and staying out of each others way in a circle. Some frick in a 26' Sea Hunt with two engines decides he's going to come anchor in the middle of our circle. Everyone started yelling at him so he just drove right through it. Bite = over

Pitre isn’t what it used to be due to erosion. Same with the area that was Pfeiffer key. There’s some good spots in that general area. Just have to put the time in.

you and everyone else who doesn't read LASM.... especially when he doesn't go on his own, he just hitches rides with people then gives away their spots.

I am not a guide. I do not take pictures. I do not have an I-phone. I do not and will not post anything on Facebook. I am an avid fisherman who believes in honest posts. The Biloxi Marsh is the Biloxi WMA. I was fishing various islands east of Christmas Camp Lake. I mentioned the west wind, because this area is actually fishable on a west wind which is rare. That is all.
