Only thing I like about wild pigs is they give you corn cowboys fits.

Ours in Texas were 20 to 24 feet in diameter and 3ft high. They worked great.

I’d recommend moving the feeder in the woods and it will see more use than out in the open.

Well, the hay is in the barn now. Maybe next year? Lol

That’s very small. Encouraging.

He’s just a troll. I’ve seen countless large bucks for 30 years, (150+”) jump into pens. Our protein feeders all have pens to keep cows out and the deer wear them out. We don’t panel the corn feeders because we don’t have the pig problems other places do.

Update: 11 days after putting this thing up

Hunted once at the 7 day mark and didnt see any deer...saw a few jump in at night....they have been nocturnal

last night day 10-11: deer in the enclosure all night long and there are still deer feeding in there this morning. They feel comfortable and obviously no pigs.

We've seen at least three new bucks jump in as well...We have also seen the largest buck on camera jump in on two different nights.

Goes to show you how much the pigs affect the deer and how hesitant they are to enter a field with pigs....they can probably smell them from a mile away.

A very good friend of mine uses them often at his place in woodville. The deer just hop over and eat. His is the short t posts with the hog wire . He doesn’t have any barbed wire and the hogs stay out .

yeah I dont think the barbed wire is really needed...will probably use shorter T posts and no barbed wire on the other feeders.

Speaking of, we have the Boss Buck 200lb with spinner adapter in the enclosure....it's great, but does anyone have a recommendation for a spinner that comes with a solar panel? TIA

Just add the boss buck solar panel to your existing spinner.

I’m sorry that’s confusing the way I phrased it.

I’m looking for an additional feeder for my next excluder field

I have the All Season Feeder 600lb Stand & Fill. Been in the woods 3 years with no problems. Battery is still charged 100% with the supplied solar panel.

I keep it at 7 seconds twice a day and can get close to 6 months out of 1 fill.

All Season Feeders

depending on where you are the buccees feeders are great. Stand and fill. Make sure the spinner is in it before you leave the store

In my 67 years of life, I have never seen a quality buck jump into a fenced feeder. Just won't happen. Depending on where you hunt, you will see them very far from a fenced feeder.

That's absurd. A high percentage of the best deer I have ever seen jumped into feeder pens with zero reservations. This includes resident bucks and new bucks that showed up during the rut.

I consider myself old, not 67. In 2017, I decided to supplement feed year round, and try an manage/ kill bigger bucks. After a few months of feeding hogs expensive feed that would be shaken out of a gravity feeder within 48 hours by hogs, I decided to invest and put up panels.

I bought 6 panels (tractor supply 16 ft each) and eventually went to 12. It's nothing now for the deer to hop-(NOT JUMP) into the area and feed.

Quality Bucks- none in first 2 years where on camera, now it's nothing to see Quality bucks inside feeding station. But I'm 7 years down the road and they were raised to expect to hop into to get feed.

No hogs, I let my neighbor feed them.

Did you cut the tops of the panels down any for the little ones?

No, they will be big enough in 6-9 months to hop in 34 inches tall less than 3 foot.
