I don't want him to quit posting, he looks to have nice pistols, just don't discredit the OP's pistol by downplaying it's quality. I'd love for him to start his own thread to discuss his 1911's

Love love love me a 1911. I loved the first Colt I ever put in my hand and thought "this a weapon. No, this a work of art. This is what makes me a 'gun guy'. It doesn't get any better. I can't wait until I can afford one.". Well, I bought my Colt and thought I was shittin high cotton. Then I shot a Les Baer.

I hear ya. I just find myself coming across negatively sometimes as well and that's not my intention at all, so I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes we take ourselves way too serious!

Me too and I love shooting those two pistols, it's like butter and you never forget the "tightness" that they have. A 1911 is my favorite gun to shoot. Specifically my STI comp in 38 super.

Don't worry about me, I have a thick skin. I personally cannot stand Glocks, AK's, Judge's, cats or Democrats. It's all about personal preference. If you bring your Judge (or your cat) to my place, you would be welcomed.
However, meet my dog, Judge. He may not be so welcoming to your cat. jk

Again sorry to shite on the OPs thread, I guess I'm still butthurt from the 3 kimbers I owned back in the early 2000s.
Then when heard they started using plastic MSH, it really pushed me over the edge. I do love the "soap bar" look of the CDP.
