FINALLY got to shoot the new pistol! Took a little while to get used to since this is my first .45. Completely different shooting dynamics than the .40 that I have shot for years. So far, I could not be more pleased. This is one of the more accurate pistols I have shot and once I play around with the ammo, it may end up being the most accurate. My only negative comment would be the extraneous tool needed to pin the recoil spring when field stripping it. I would rather no tools be necessary and it may be possible to do it without the tool, but I'm not brave enough to try yet. All in all a great package and highly recommended.

It's extremely difficult to do if you're not used to it without the tool. Just use the tool and you'll be fine.
