Fall Tomatos question

For the first year ever, I planted some fall tomatoes. Cherokee Purples and Celebrities. I have about 30-45 good sized tomatoes that are all deep dark green and have been for the past 10-12 days or so with no indication that they are turning colors to ripen.
With the overnight freeze coming Tuesday, my plan was to just pick them all and hope they ripen inside by the window sill ?
No way for me to cover them really.
Thoughts?

Go ahead and pick them. You can put them in a brown paper bag with a banana and they will be rip in a few days

How cold is it getting? Established plants can survive a mild freeze. I don't plan on picking mine but I'm on the coast. My peppers survived all last winter without covering, my tomato's died though.
I haven't found force ripened tomato's to be all that great, but I do like to make a fake salsa verde with green tomato's substituted as tomatillos.

Supposed to get below freezing which will wipe out tomatoes. Originally it was forecasted for mid 20s but looks like it has been raised to around 30.

Cover them well with one huge sheet
Crank up a Mr Buddy heater
Insert under blanket

We don't have a long enough season for good fall tomatoes (E Texas). My summer plants shrivel and almost die but perk up and set a bunch of new fruit late summer/early fall. So I have about 18 tomatoes on the plants but they will not ripen on the vine. It will get too cold.

Picked em today. 35 nice sized ones and another 20-25 smaller ones. All green. put in brown paper bag and will see what happens.
