You bought it outright or bid on it? I looked at their site and you can bid on them, but I'd rather look at them before.

My BIL bought a brand-new one (as in never been used) at auction for $1500. The only drawback is it doesn't have a chemical toilet; you have to plug it into a sewer/septic system.

My friend buys them, cleans them up and take care of all the work Dbour5 discussed and then re-sales them. He has pretty reasonable pricing. Depending on the trailer size he sales them between 3k and 5K ready to move in.

I'd try to fork up for a Katrina Cottage at least. I lived in a FEMA camper for 8 months after the storm and it was pretty rough. I'm thankful to have had a place to stay, but damn that's tough living. The sink, the shower, the sharp-arse corners, the bed...I don't know man, I think I'd rather sleep in a tent. Ours was a serious POS and it's going to take at least another 5 years to purge those memories from my brain.

Problem is it needs to be semi-portable. I only have the lease for duck season.

Well, you really need to check to see if you have hook ups as in a shite tank in the ground already along with power on site.

Power and water are taken care of. It's the crapper that's making me nervous. I didnt know these things didnt all have tanks.

Put in an MSD III tank and pump when you get the chance.
