Disappointing. I thought we had another stuck white Ford F250 thread about to hit.

Nothing productive to add report wise, but one time my friend and I took his 1990s Toyota Celica that had been lowered, onto Elmer’s. It was a helluva drive

Elmers looked like It was hosting a boat show last Saturday! Gonna be just as bad this Saturday. Down here now and fishing tomorrow I'll try to post a report.

you can thank one person and Louisiana sportsman for that. I will be nowhere near that place.

To be fair, Elmers island isn't some well kept secret. It's probably one of the best known fishing grounds in the state.

People are going to crowd it and it's going to be a cluster, but that's fine, there's plenty of water.

With a forecast strong SE wind it’s going to be rough in front of ELmers this weekend.

Good luck to anyone who tries to fish that in a boat less than 24 ft.

I fished there a few weeks in a row before running offshore for groves... it was not that crowded until a few posts were made
i'll be launching in leeville or GM and just running to a few of my other spots now though... or just surf fishing fourchon beach. don't ask how I can do that either

We fished Elmer's today and it was slow. Most of our fish were caught on the rock jetties out front of the island. But it was work!! 15 keepers, 25-30 throwbacks. 1 red. We trolled down Elmer's then trolled down the rock jetties. Fished live shrimp (which I hate) and still had a slow bite.
