Any word on the bite on Elmer’s island? Is the shuttle service still available?

I heard the shuttle was there. Fished GI last weekend and the surf was dirty due to the wind before. I think the trout havent showed up in big numbers yet. Probably going in 2 weeks to try again.

Was there this weekend. Shuttle was running. Not a lot of people fishing. Had a handful of boats scattered along the beach fishing. Water was dirty from wind on Friday and Sautrday, got better on Sunday. Got better the closer you got to East Timbalier. Caught some fish, 20 saturday and 40 sunday, but didn't kill em.
