I told one of my buddy's who's down there today i'm having a pretty good weekend but it feels like it sucks because it's not tarpon

We caught em pretty good in the spillway today, we had 9 keepers, nothing over 3 lbs, a lot of 13" throwbacks, took a few pics and will post later...also caught 12 sacs messin around, fished till 230...back at em tomorrow
ETA: when I say keepers I mean weighing fish that we threw back, also caught a shitton of goggleye

We fished til about 12...we didn't bring any food in the boat and got hungry
I talked to a couple guys who stayed fishing later than us, said they caught a bunch of sacs after we left.
I talked to 4 or 5 people out there bass fishing that said they've been consistently catching 13" fish and nothing bigger.

I worked on my jeep for hours with no prevail, and then had to luxury of riding with a black tow truck driver named Pam for a good while. Hell of a day if ya ask me. I know y'all are jelly.
