I'm late to the party too. Work has been getting in the way of my posting. I need to reprioritize.

I'm thinking most of the shell cuts are gonna be some clear black water? Was in the spring anyway. check out the north side where the intercoastal feeds in.... And anything bt there and duck lake is gonna be the same and choked up with lillies. I might be heading down there. Kinda want to make that run I was talking to you ab last weekend (to grand lake) I'll let u know if I do and maybe yall can crash at the camp if u want. Did u see dad Sunday?

Do you ever go through the locks and fish Teche? I used to fish there almost weekly when I was in college. Haven't been in a few years though.

It is and you're right, most of it is clear black water choked up and you can tell it probably has low oxygen. I was actually fishing outside of the shellcuts, just didn't want to give the area away. I found some mixing water in other areas i might check out. The forks on north end usually light up when the water drops, really haven't made my mind up where i'm going yet. I didn't make it out there sunday.

We've fished it in the spring before. Prefishing for a tourneyment where we had to stay above 90... Didn't lock through though. Just put in over near berwick. It's really pretty in there.. Lined with cypress trees. Reminds me of belle river. There's just so much to fish in that area that we often don't even consider it.. I fish a lot of shallow backwater stuff that's hard to get into... I don't like to fish around a ton of people

Yeh I should probably just shut up knowing what that area probably looks like

I wish this water would get on out. It's at a funky stage right now...

First, I'm assuming that OB stands for Outdoor Board. I've never visited the place myself. Can't see why I'd want to do that.

Second, isn't the OB one of the holding pens that Chicken created so that the rest of us don't have to mingle with the dregs of society? Perhaps one of the admins that stalks these threads can chime in on this issue.

Third, does the OB really have royalty? I suppose even the lowly bacteria that produce fromunda cheese could select one of their own to be their king and queen . . . but why? And who would care?

Fourth, assuming that OB stands for Outdoor Board, and assuming that the OB is both a fellowship of fishermen and a wasteland of unwashed, weapon-mongering wretches who purchase "weapons" because they are compensating for something else, and assuming that they have duly selected their royalty, and assuming that DownshiftAndFloorIt and BourgsTheWord are in fact the royalty of the OB, which one of you is the king and which one is the queen?

That guy is hilarious.
