New construction home, moved in last May. With the hot weather, my wife and I have noticed more and more earwigs inside the home. I usually do a good spray of TalstarP outside every month or two, and recently did an indoor spray, but it doesn't have seemed to knock them out. Seeing one or two alive what feels like every day.

What can I do/spray to get these guys gone? Wife is riding my arse.

Will do, is it safe for indoors? About to have a new baby in the house.

Do you have a specific brand you prefer than I can snag from home depot or lowes on the way home today?

The Talstar P should do the trick if you’re spraying a good perimeter around the house (2 feet up the house and 4 feet out).

Maybe try Maxforce complete granules. That should take care of them and many other insects.

Demon WP is what I've used in the past. It is labeled for crack and crevice use indoors

I thought so too, I love my talstar and frequently spray, but it seems to be less effective on these particular bugs this summer. Just ordered some of the Demon WP and will report back.

If you’re going to use a WP, use all of what you mix. Do not leave any mixed solution left over in your sprayer.

And there’s not much need to spray inside for earwigs. If they get insode, they’ll die soon enough. They have nothing to eat inside, unless you have dead and decaying things in there.

I had terrible problems with earwigs myself and always sprayed outside the perimeter of the house as well as inside with Talstar. It wasn't until I started doing the entire yard with Talstar granules did I really stop seeing them in the house. I'm not kidding when I say I would kill 6-7 first thing in the morning crawling on our tile floors in the house. And those are the ones we could see! I probably haven't seen one inside in over 2 yrs. I do a yard application twice a year. This year I did a Taurus SC application so the bugs don't form a Talstar immunity.

I use talstar.
I know when to reapply when they show up again.
Never seen roaches, ants, and earwig or silverfish since I used it in my yard.
