Texas teal opener is next weekend. Wondering if anyone has been out there and seen any birds or heard anything?

Pintail Hunting club has a couple of short clips on their facebook page. Of course, if anyone is going to have birds, they will. We had a teal buzz or pond this past week and we are just east of the flight pattern down the Colorado river bottom.

Big push of birds in the last 24 hours. Ponds that were holding 250 birds are now holding 2500+ birds. Seeing this across the prairie from Katy to Garwood.
