I switched to stocking foot waders this yr with wading boots. They are cheap as frick but since they fit so much better they don't get caught on sticks and stuff. You're pretty tall tho so idk about the crotch. I probably put 20 miles in this yr on my waders and I didn't have a single leak except on the heel of the foot from walking so much. The mileage is why I switched. Muuuuch easier to walk in.

And by this I mean: since they fit snug against your leg, there isn't very much loose material to snag on stuff.

Maybe if ya find a wader made out of Kevlar could last 3 years?

I find this to be true as well...much easier to walk in mud when the boot is not flopping all around on your foot, too. the tradeoff is that I find the stockingfoot/wading boot combo to be harder to put on when I have a bunch of clothes on, as you have to bend over to tie your boot laces...

I switched from Macks to Game Winner, when Macks changed their style. I bought both the 3.5 mm and breathables. No problems with either. That's all I'm buying from now on. They were great. nafe about 30 hints in them this year with no problems

Cabelas one strap waders. Had them 3 seasons and they're great. Got them on sale for about 160 with al of the extra markdowns they had. Best waders I ever owned.
