I was planning to go to my club in Creole to close out the season this weekend. I canceled, because I could get down there fine, but ice is supposed to be an inch thick on the highways and I don’t think I would have made it home.

Smart call, getting off the island could be problematic. Gibbstown and Forked Island bridges are pretty steep.

None of those bridges will have ice on them
There won’t be any ice south of I-10 and even if there were it wouldn’t be until late Sunday
