I'm looking to take my two boys, 9 & 11, on a guided duck hunt somewhere with lodging. My 11 year old may bring a gun but not sure. Any and all recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if thy have lodging or not, but Specklebelly Hunting Club is a very well run place if you want to whack some white fronts

Don't go to Doug's it is a real shite show. You may have a good experience but I have heard some real shite stories from people that have used them in the past.

Top guns in Mer rouge. Would be great for kids.
You get real close to arkansas without having to buy out of state licenses. And the guys there are good friends of mine so I highly recommend.
Brought my dad on his first duck hunt there recently. Wanted to give him something easy as a first hunt.

I second Top Gun - they are good with kids and family.
Good guys, decent accommodations and usually great hunts.

Opposite corners of the state.

Someone should ask what major city he plans on hunting near so we can narrow down the suggestions.

Cherry Ridge would be great, probably no openings, get Clark or Rhett to help you out I would imagine both of them are great with young ones.

I HEARD that Habitat Flats has like an 8 year waiting period for a weekend duck hunt these days. Haven't verified, but with the TV show, it wouldn't surprise me.

ill second that Habitat Flats is awesome, if you are willing to pay for it your pretty much guaranteed to limit out on green tops. Except it might ruin a first time hunter leading him to believe every hunt will turn out that way.

What does a blast and cast per day / per person run for at this joint?

If you can't get to Habitat Flats then check out Wildlife Farms in Cascoe, AR.
