I thought for sure the ducks would be out with the cold front coming through soon. Didn't see much at all. I even settled for Meganser.
On the positive note (and to also toot my own horn...you would too if you could), I donated/signed-up for DU and Delta Waterfowl. I feel like a better person.

Where about do you hunt?
I'll be in Maringouin tomorrow hoping to shoot some new ducks down with the front.

I'll be in the Pine Island/Roanoke area this weekend. Hopefully we got some rain over the past few weeks to hold some birds.

Always within 1 or 2 hours of Baton Rouge. Sherburne, Big Branch, etc

Yep, didn't fly today. Had em pegged, we thought. Hopefully tomorrow they will fly in the timber here in South Ark.

SU where do you hunt in maringouin? Should be a good one they are having the youth hunt on the refuge. I hunted this morning and they didn't do much, but he next few
