Does anyone here collect duck decoys?
If so, how would one go about finding the value of a decoy?
I have several sets that I’d like information on including a set of Masons challenge that I’d like more information on.
Thanks,

There are some facebook groups dedicated to duck decoy collectors. That would be the fastest way to get a ball park figure from educated collectors.
If they start offering to buy it, gather more info. You've probably got something valuable.

I have a small collection of old decoys.
some of them are priced pretty high on ebay but they never sell. Its more of a hobby thing, and its hard to make money off of them. It is a niche market however so if you stumble across the right collector you can make a windfall but all of the stars have to be aligned.

Find a price just for fun, but for the most part get ready to enjoy it on your shelf when you tell people its value.
Just like those "valuable" civil war prints people like to own.

I have a collection of about forty decoys limited to vintage Louisiana carvers. I could probably give you a good estimate of what they are worth.
You could get a value on Mason Factory decoys by checking E bay or the Guyette & Deeter weekly decoy auction.

Can you estimate based on the photos above?

They are likely in the $40.00 to $75.00 category. Could you post photos of your Mason Factory decoys? Some of them are valued collector items.
