I'd love to see the guides faces whenever they showed up with a bunch of brush they cut the afternoon before

I love this series and I can't wait for every Friday to watch, but that episode was awkward and not the same quality. I'm just surprised they kept that in there or edited it the way they did. Really weird. Hopefully the next one picks back up.

It's a shame that they let that entire situation sour the episode. SWLa still has it's prime spots and the hunting traditions and people really can be great. Hopefully they will make another pass at it and do some vetting before they let some washed up frat boy ruin a good show.

I know we can do more digging to figure out which poster this is. Above link is where the invite request started.

First season was interesting with the cooking and “newness”, but this has turned to shite.

I love it. I think they have done an even better job this season. This episode would have been the worst had it not been for the backstory. But still I’m enjoying the show.

Last episode had cooking?
I saw them eat at restaurants more this episode more than ever, they did however throw some stuff together in a pot last 2-3 minutes.

JP even admit they went to late “brushing” a blind on a guided hunt to cook one night.

But whatever

To be fair, what did you really expect them to do after they realized the set-up wasn't legit? They have a production schedule to keep to. I am sure they will do better due diligence in the future, but sometimes you have to make lemonade.

Maybe improvise with what little they have and prepare a meal, coulda been basic with a “little flair”.

Not everyone has a 5 star hunting camp, so this episode could been a how to prepare with basic equipment/setup . It seems as they say F*ck after the where fooled.

No worries tho, I still enjoy the show and the music and camera work is well done. I just saying it’s fell off of late.

Just watched the episode. Jesse story was mostly edited out. Only big hint was Thomas talking about "classic Jesse" but they didn't show much besides the cracklins and him fainting.

Ol Baw showed up Sunday opening weekend at Sportsman's Charters. He is definitely reading all of this. Hopefully lessons learned my boy!

Chef JP, give SW Louisiana another shot, we can do better!!

They did get on some birds and Jay is funny as hell!!

Those 2 are a match made in heaven. It'll be interesting to see who screws over who first in that match up!

I think they were kind of liberal with a few of the job descriptions.
I surprised that since the real owner/guide didn’t get paid, they would’ve thrown him more of a bone on the show. He was the guide in the other blind that limited pretty fast. I don’t think they even mentioned his guide service name.
