Wait...I thought you ran a coffee shop?
When I saw it was him on show, I was waiting patiently for him to break out his French press. Can’t lie, little disappointed in Nico.

Good episode!
Man, they were hammering on those Mexican squealers!
That duck lasagna looked pretty dang good too!
The one guy took a shot at the “Tensas limit” though.

Yeah, they did Juice. Chef got popped in the chest by a squealer... say that 5 times! The chef with the squealer lasagna looks like a cool guy to hunt and cook with like Chef and all the boys. Cool episode, enjoy seeing them get back to their roots. Crazy how many black bellies were cruising that part of the world now. Is this common? I remember seeing a few back in the late 90's in Pecan Island.

Definitely common in that area. I hunt a couple miles away and killed a band that morning as well as another the following weekend. Last year the was first where I observed them throughout 90% of the season though. The first split was incredible though.

Interesting. These are common to Mexico right. Crazy to see their transition. I shot a few and have a picture somewhere from Pecan Island hunt. I haven't hunted Louisiana in over 10 years. It is very interesting to see the changes. Used to kill a lot of mallards in Pecan Island. They seem sparse from different guys that still hunt there. Penny's are still good, lots of blue wing/ green wing, greys, and few hollywoods.
We shoot a ton of Widgeon, Grey, Pintail, Green Wing teal, and a few mallards each hunt in Southwest Oklahoma.
Seeing quit a few more divers, Ring Neck and RedHead specifically. Always crazy mixed bag now. Used to be able to kill limits of Green and pick out a Penny, that was 10 plus years ago.
Either way it's awesome to see the shows and reminisce about hunting in the swamps of St. Mary Parish.

Episodes 5 and 6 were really good. Definitely worth the watch for hunting, and cooking, drinking as well. Chef has a great thing going and i'm always looking forward to his new shows. His cooking channel is really good as well. The baws up in Georgia are enjoying the new culinary delights
