Choke has more effectiveness than shot size unless you're going with smaller then 6 or larger than 3s and you're handicapping yourself. Get a custom choke like a Roy Roberts and you'll notice a huge difference in your target patterning and duck distance crushing.

you have no idea how good coots can be because you don't know how to properly cook them.

Depends on the overall condition of the deer in question but most probably yes

There has not been a single case of CWD transfer to humans. In deer it is confined to the spinal cord and brain. The other meat is perfectly fine to eat and obviously has been eaten by hundreds if not thousands of hunters unknowing their untested deer was infected. However a deer in its last stages would be very emaciated and as a compromised animal could possibly suffer contamination of a different nature and probably be unappetizing.
re: Menhaden boats kill thousands of redfish, hundreds wash up on Grand Isle this week
Posted by Chasseur on 9/18/25 at 10:28 am to WizardSleeve
The menhaden Industry will justify this by saying the $1M LGL study authorized by LA Legislature and paid for with our Artificial Reef Funds shows these results:
From 2015-2024 the pogey boats accounted for 9.9% of total redfish removal
The recreational harvest (78.9%) & recreational dead discards (11.2%) accounted for the other 90.1%
Even if this is accurate the question not answered is now we know the recreational removal of spawners will be close to 11% (some releases will not survive) since its illegal to keep any bulls.
What is the % of the critical SPAWNING redfish removed from the population by pogey boats?
It will be close to 89%. What will the overall impact be? Time will tell.

Bayou Wild TV/Tigers in the Wild
Tie the chicken necks on to fishing line on push button Zebco type rod reel combo. Have one kid reel up very slowly when you see the line go tight and have another kid put the scoop net underneath when crab surfaces they won't let go. Kids will absolutely love this!

Bad feeling about tonight's game

Clearly LSU should easily beat LR BUT seems every year a darling Cinderella come back team appears. It's been LSU in the past. Could it be this team named after a prophylactic in 2025?
Looks good but would insert Pearson instead of Brown if facing a lefty

Johnson was pissed because he wanted to reposition Brasswell and because he couldn't due to the interview the bunt was successful and possibly made the difference in the game.
