How’s it looking since the storm, anyone seeing less birds? Seems like they are here today, gone tomorrow at my place.

I live south of town and they are all in my yard. They show up every year around this time

Here in Georgia it is nearly time for the annual "night before dove season opens" band of severe thunderstorms to roll through and drive every bird in the state someplace other than in the state.....it happens almost every year....to the point that when it doesn't happen its notable and the opener is always very good to excellent....

Checked my millet field yesterday. Saw about 200 birds, the most I’ve seen. Guess the storm moved some in, hope they stick around till Saturday.

Real promising for tomorrow morning in Pointe Coupee parish. Standing under the pecan tree I’m cooking under tomorrow right now watching doves fly across the field. Should be a hell of a shoot tomorrow!
