Thanks everybody. I can't wait to head back up there in a few.

Hopefully the good news will continue to pour in. Amazing how we can go from "you may lose him", to this. I know he still has a long way to go, but I we are blessed for all the progress so far.

Man I cant even imagine how you felt. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I worry all the time because my wife is about 33 weeks pregnant(with our 3rd). This one caught us by surprise, my other two are 14 and 9. We are mostly worried about my wife's age and high risks that come with it.

Great to hear Slick...Never understimate the power of prayer, the woods and the Valley will always be there, now you will have another one to carry both traditions with you.

They said the only cause that they can trace for the placenta tearing is crack cocaine use.

Believe it or not, my wife was not on crack before, during, or after her pregnancy. They said sometimes it just happens to normal people, no explanation.

What really baffled the doctors is why he acted the way he did during the delivery. They were monitoring his vitals before and during the section. For some reason he just cut off and his heart quit pumping. The doctor has come to see us everyday and keeps expressing how sorry she is that it happened. She went over the reports 100s of times with everyone in the hospital and they can't find any reason for what happened.

Man, that's a wild story. It's one that you'll tear up telling for the rest of your life, but they'll be happy tears, because your little man is doing just fine.

Yeah, he's fighting along. He's looking much better now that the swelling has went down and some of his bruises are going away.

It's been a hell of a week and a half and things are starting to look up.

Maw Maw and Paw Paw already said they'd buy him a gun, and the other set said they'd get him a lifetime hunting and fishing license. Who said girls are cheaper?
