The entire shell around it tore off, got caught in the kennel bars. Just the quick remains, bleeding like a stuck pig. Headed to the vet this morning.
Anyone ever see this?

I mean the whole nail shell stripped off and the white soft part in the shape of the nail is left. Gives me the willies...

Happen to mine and looked like a damn murder scene. Held her foot in flour and vinegar. Rinsed. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Didn't bring her to the vet. She limped a little for a day or so was fine.

Vet will clean it, give some pain relievers, and send you on your way. Should be fine it just sucks seeing your (child) in pain.
