I absolutely piss off the back of the stand, and smoke as well.
Doesnt seem like it has ever bothered a deer. Shot the biggest buck of my like at 22 yards with a cigarette burning.

Deer are used to the smell of smoke. Its not the cigarette that scares them off, its the hand moving to and from the mouth.

For some reason I can't stop laughing at this thread. 
My old man swears by a piss bottle in his stand. It sits right beside his cigarette butt bottle.
I've pretty much gotten to where I dgaf, and have the same number of encounters as I did when I kept the scent soap people in business.
