I havent gone this year and might not make it, probably just stick to Gheens


Dad's there now. Shot a doe monday afternoon and saw a spike with 15" tines! It was on the neighbors properity though so he decided to pass (thats a special trophy IMO)

been seeing a lot of movement, few small bucks and some does.

Today he had a shooter 6pt 30 yds away in the woods but it caught wind of him before stepping out and hopped off

Nothing real big taken this year so far

I just googled, thats in Wiggins? If so, thats far from our lease



We're off of 55 between Brookhaven and Hazelhurst



although I see that one of my ancestors must have settled a town just south of Wiggins

ETA: I must have been thinking of Lake Lincoln. After going to so many camp grounds they all become kind of blurred.

Keep hunting. I like to donate a deer or hog to the food kitchen every year.
