Yes to the first question. No to the second.

Yep.

Had one scare in Palmetto, FL where a guy was shot near my hotel and they couldn't find the guy who shot him.

The police came door to door looking for him.

I move one of the guns from my ride to hers. And the few times she has taken a trip with the kids without me, I give her one to take with her as well. Most of the time you get in the car and make the 3-4 hour drive and you're there. Sometimes not even stopping for gas, food, or the restroom. Especially if the kids fall asleep in the back. No need to risk waking one or both of them up. But it is that outside shot of having a flat tire on a dark stretch of highway at night, or running into a deer, or any other little thing that can leave you on the side of a dark road and vulnerable. I always clip my tac light on the rail and it is in the console in a padded zippered case with the back unzipped so I can reach down and pull it out.

Never had to use it, and hope to keep it that way.

Yes to carry, but I just keep it in the car while at the campground. People who RV camp are a different type.

Yes, had to pull it once to ward off a persistent bum looking for a handout. My son was young and the bum was freaking him out, so I let the bum get a good view of the inside of my barrel... He left fairly quick

I've never needed it, but I always have my drop gun with me when driving. It's 100% untraceable back to me.

It's a felony to have a gun with scratched out numbers. Get rid of that shite.

Kinda extreme response to a panhandler.

I was taught that when it come to guns or your pecker, never pull it out unless you plan on using it.

It was at night in New Orleans, the crackhead was pushy and belligerent. Once he started acting like a violent monkey I ended it. Make no mistake, I had all intentions of using it if needed.
