I'm pretty skeptical too. But I know what I saw, so I'm a believer.

A red wolf, not in a zoo.

People don't honestly think Bigfoot exists, right? I mean this thread is just a joke...isn't it? Please tell me it is.

Watch the videos from the last page and explain what you see.

pretty good finding bigfoot tonight. That thermal video from the Marianna area is one of the best I have ever seen. That part of Florida is creepy as hell if you have been there. I hate having to pull over and get gas there late at night. little bitty towns of local yokels and tons of damn frogs and snakes.
From Florida Wildlife and Fisheries website:
The upper Apalachicola watershed has more endangered plant species than any comparably sized area in Florida and has the highest density of amphibians and reptiles on the continent north of Mexico.
There could be bigfoots, vampires, covens of witches, crazy satan worshiping people, serial killers,u name it. Place is just creepy as hell.

If anything it makes it difficult to just what lives in there.

It's easier to tell you what I don't see. A large intelligent bipedal primate. We can find dinosaurs from 65 million years ago, but no remains from a currently living Bigfoot from areas where we think they live. Or clear pictures, or clear video or any kind of rock hard evidence. They can find Osama bin laden who made it his life to hide and evade humans amongst humans but they can't find an 8' primate living in the woods where he would stick out like a sore thumb. That's one smart ape.

Lemme just throw this idea into the fold...
Consider that early man eradicated many species of even more ancient man for territory and resources. Every species of ancient man is dead today, partly because of this. So then, think of what behaviors would positively affect a species of ancient man to keep them safe and undetected from man as to not be killed: Always fleeing in danger, extra attention and flight repose given to smells dealing with man/predators, etc. The most successful of these species are the ones that have heightened senses eliciting these lifesaving responses, and because they weren't killed, their progeny acquire those traits. On and on down the family tree this goes for those stealthier and careful one of the species until you have a species that can go undetected by man for thousands and thousands of years. Until today, where they practice the same survival techniques using the same flight responses against the same species as long long ago.
TLDR: Man drove the species that is bigfoot down one evolutionary path favoring traits of stealth and carefulness, and therefore that is why man cannot find them today.

You probably think al queda was behind 911 too

Conventional game camera disproves that.
On a side note, why do the majority of people seem to think that if a bear stands up on two feet, its front legs automatically stick out? They can hang by their side very easily and I think would naturally if a bear was standing.

Scientists regularly find new species in the oceans and on the land masses
These "new" species that they find are usually either:
1: Insects that nobody pays a second glance. How do you know if half the bugs you see in the woods have been described by science? Now imagine you live in the amazon rain forest.
2. Subspecies of mammals that look very similar to their counterparts. It's not that nobody has ever SEEN them. It's just that they're assumed to be just like all the others.
3. Only unknown to science. The locals know all about them. See: Coelacanth.
This wouldn't be the case with an 8' ape man in the woods. Nobody sees one and thinks, "Oh, that's just a regular 7 1/2' ape man. No big deal."

So they evolved to detect and avoid game cameras, which have only existed for the past 10 years?
Posted on 11/28/13 at 3:06 pm to Cooter Davenport
No they avoid humans, who put up cameras, which aren't natural and get noticed.
Posted on 11/28/13 at 4:04 pm to VanRIch
We can find a fossil that is 40 million years old but not one single shred of evidence that a Bigfoot creature has ever existed.

Yet these odd videos keep showing up. Artifacts are from times gone by. We are talking the present. All the videos are wonderful but some are believable. The same look of the creature worldwide and with the same proportions and gate is hard to replicate. These are not bears. Bears are not bipedal nor swing their paws when the stand erect.
