What club is that from? Hunt and from the area so I’m curious. I didn’t think Arnaudville would have deer like that but I guess the northern parts are close to some good land south of 190. I’m guessing this might be a loose arnaudville definition.

Great deer but not going to come close to state record. The one killed close to Lac O this weekend was a monster non typical. Deer of a lifetime.

It doesnt. Arnaudville is a small town with no woods in it. My grandmother lived almost in Sunset and was considered Arnaudville. It could be anywhere within 20 miles of it.

20 miles is stretching it a bit but I’d say 10 miles is not. This was near Bayou Portage, the guy is a pretty good friend of my wife’s nephews. He may have been hunting on their family property but I am not certain. I’ve heard them speak of this deer before.

There are small wooded areas near the edges of Arnaudville, for sure, but not what I would call real “woods” . Many of my wife’s family lives right on the edge of town or just a little out on highway 31 and they’ve seen deer in the fields behind their house along the tree lines. Nothing this size, though.

Ok. Gotta be South of the gun range huh? Indian Bayou is right next to Bayou so it's possible some of those big ones are hiding on private property.

Pretty sure it was private property. My wife’s sister’s in laws have a nice place out in that area, and that guys family may as well.
