Fished there yesterday and caught all the upper slot reds we could handle on fly.

Fished Pointe Fienne/Skippy/Oak River yesterday and caught 3 trout, 1 bass. Caught a 2-man limit last Tuesday in Point Fienne. It definitely wasn't on yesterday like it has been.

is not producing at all right now

you have no clue. That pattern has been producing since November. Buddy came back yesterday after limiting out 6 days straight. But he's a bass hole so he can fish better than you yats with your market shrimp under a cork.

The word I got is there are a lot of small trout. More in the Reggio area. Last winter, my brother smacked the hell out of big trout in the ponds. He told me the water is still running way to high. Lucky SOB gets to fish three or four times a week down there. Then again, he lives about 10 miles from Reggio.

We had a few throw backs, but vast majority were 12"-14" fish and I'm okay with that.

that's a stretch. Good for you that you've been doing great in Oak river since November. I myself have not had the chance to get out there this year at all but i do know the everyday pattern is not there like it is every other year .
Usually when it gets cold,it gets cold and stays and its an everyday pattern in Oak River.
this year not so much.
