Delacroix fishing advice needed

I want to take the family fishing in Delacroix this week. I have a party barge rigged up for fishing with trolling motor and live wells. Are there any concerns with running aground if I stay in the main canals or any areas to avoid?
Thanks
Thanks

You should be fine running around. Head over to Grand Lake and work the shore line for reds

Plenty places to beach yourself. You have to follow bayou gentilly out from the landing to go towards grand lake and that can be tricky if you havent done it several times.
You run the main bayou out to black bay and campo, lots of places to get stuck out there as well. Just follow smart marsh fishing rules and you'll be fine, dont go barreling off into marsh flats.

Went yesterday afternoon and the water was very high but also super clean. Got there at peak of high tide and got back to dock around 8pm when it was beginning to fall. I always look at the water line on the rocks on side of the road going down as a gauge. Also, when in doubt, follow crab traps. If you can see buoy but no crab trap you should have near 2 feet. Like others have said, follow main bayous into lakes.
