Deer population - South of Venice

Always seen plenty of hogs, but after reading article of the jet ski buck seems like there are a few more deer than I thought.

True, except the fact that there are thousands of acres and 2 public lands south of Venice...

Guess they could do well there tho.

there used to be a lot of deer down there the problem is there were few places to hide. With a pop up blind I bet you could do well.

I don't know what the private land is like, but the idea of tracking down and dragging a deer through the Venice public land marsh seems terrible

that's where a lot of the deer were caught and used to stock other portions of the state way back when

They are there because it’s a 45min boat ride through ship traffic in the dark , not a straight tree to be found, the bent ones have ants, mosquitoes year around, and when you shoot one they run across the floataw.
