I am going to get one of the Rail Master Universal Laser. Crimson Trace Rail Master
I want to hook one up to my Glock and I am thinking about setting one up on my AR as well. Does anyone have any input or experience with these?

I found them for $129 at Impact Guns

Crimson Trace is offering a $50 Rebate on their Lasergrips and Laserguards at this time. The rebate will not cover the Rail Master.

If anyone is considering purchasing...the rebate provides a great opportunity to get %25 off a Glock Crimson Trace.

i have the laser grip for my glock 17. it takes about 15 minutes to zero it in at 20 feet and oh my God... I can bullseye every single one of my shots from 20 feet away without holding the gun properly. That is to say, I can shoot around corners, or with one hand at an off angle, or from the hip, etc... and still hit consistently. I love mine and I would strongly encourage getting one.

Side note:

*it does not replace trigger time. My wife still can't hit crap with the gun because she flinches and shakes. So do not get it if it is solely to try to "dumb down" the gun for a novice shooter.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the response. Just two more things-
What type of Holster do you get?
How does it hold zero?

Holds zero just fine. I generally use a glock paddle holster because when i do carry it, it is not concealed (way to big for that). I cant see any holsters that arent concealed getting in the way of that laser.

I feel the same way about lasers, that I do about night sites.

Here is an interesting read though...

I'm sensing some hate also...

I personally have no experience with either. I pretty much just point and shoot my .357 and it works well now that I've got about 2000 rounds down the pipe.

Not full of hate, just no use. Now military uses on the other hand are totally different.
