Seems there is a huge amount of information missing from your post.

I would think that since the cops were called and there was a man trying to lure kids into a teepee in the woods, that this would have made your local news.........

Right?

The cops just looked for drugs evidently and didn't find anything, so they left. I showed up after they were gone. The dads are figuring out how they want to handle it. If I hadn't seen this thing I wouldn't have believed the story

oh okay, thought they knew who the guy was from the neighborhood. Im not sure what i would do... set up cameras maybe, if nothing in a week or so burn it down. Crazy situation. Call the media would be pretty good also, they would eat up a story like this.

I know, that's what I was thinking. But the dad had a good point, he doesn't want they guy to just disappear after seeing it on the news and then go set up shop somewhere else.

Does he have a function-able still, or is it just a place of "residence"?

Yes, but AFTER you catch a photo of him. Hell, I think I'd go door to door with my kid until he recognized the guy answering the door.

i understand, and if i was the dad i would be doing the same thing... but honestly what is he going to do when he finds him? Legally speaking?

I think I'd get in trouble. I would absolutely threaten that mf'ers life. The dog is the icing on the cake for me. Yes using it to lure the kids.

There is no fricking reason for a grown man to be on non-owned land, building shite, posting No Trespass signs, and using dogs to get little kids to visit him.

NO other way to slice it. That dude is deranged! And that means he is dangerous.

I sure would contact the land owning company asap

We need more pics of the campsite. It's strangely well manicured and neat. Looks like a lot of work was put into that thing. How far away from the neighborhood is it? A MS Paint plan is needed.
