Found plenty of bodies in the woods. Oddly enough the live people we sometimes get called to in rural areas are much stranger than the dead ones. Body parts are usually found around railroad tracks.

I've never seen it, but theres supposed to be a WWII bomber or something crashed in the swamp not far from the camp. Also heard rumors of a steam engine from the old loggin days. I'd like to find both one day.

Nice, lets go get some collectibles and sell them on Pawn Stars.

I don't know what kind of shape its in, but that would make a cool deer blind if its intact.

For an agency in AL that covers both urban and rural areas.

I actually found an old shotgun one time on some family land. Still have it, never even attempted to shoot it.

When I was a kid my friends found a Willis jeep filled with cement in the floorboards out in the middle of the woods. Story was that a Chinook was flying it over to the range at Ft. Ruker and had to drop it due to in flight complications. Never had any confirmation on this but it added up at the time.
Last month my dad was cleaning up the comunity cemetary and found a bottle of moonshine that at best guess is at least 50 years old. Clear as a bell and wont hold a bead no matter how hard you shake it.
My brother in-law works for the forest service. He found a piece of the space shuttle that burned up on reentry over Texas.

Found a baby high chair sitting up perfectly deep in the woods one time. Wasn't near any known roads or trails. Still haven't figured that one out

My truck wouldn't start one day after high school so I footed it back home, about 4 or 5 miles from the high school if I walked the dirt roads, half that if I cut straight through the woods and creeks and stuff.
I just took the straight path cause I figured I'd see what all was back there. Got about a mile in and found a path headin my direction so I followed it and came into a clearing where it looked like a village was set up. Real shitty shelters with sticks and brush and stuff. Figured kids had made a fort back there or somethin and then I saw the mannequins(sp?). probably fifteen or twenty spread about the clearing standing up in poses and stuff, some set up like they were talking to eachother.
I was 16, it freaked me the hell out and I hauled arse outta there and never went back. It was creepy as frick.

I went to camp in North Carolina in my early teens and hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail. They have huts built along it for hikers to stop and make camp. One of the huts we had planned to stay at had a group of people that had obviously been living there for a while (beards and torn up clothes). They had tons of automatic weapons and various other weapons. As we turn the corner and walked up to it they all got real quiet and just stared at us. The counselor leading the hike quickly turned us around and we hightailed it out of there. To this day I wonder who the frick they were and what they were planning.

I was walking the top of this steep rigdge and came up on a Hellfire Missle from an Apache that was stuck in the ground.
All of those old in ground missile silos have been stripped by the government of anything important. There is a cool episode of Cities of the Underground where they go inside a bunch of them. All of the computer equipment has been removed but a few of them still contain missiles that have been disarmed.

I saw a condom float by my boat last time I went out...didn't pick it up, so I won't claim I "found" it!!!

Found a few old cars in the woods. Shells, beer cans, that's about it.
Dad found an old Coast2Coast 12ga in the river about 20 years ago. He still uses it to this day.
