This is where we'd go as well. Too bad Spanish Lake has dried up. I also remember a lot of folks setting nets in the ditches along US 71 just north of Krotz Springs, and in the ditches along 190.

Thanks, Gorillacoco, but I don't have a boat and it looks like that's the only way to access Joyce WMA.

even with a bateau or a pirogue you should be able to get up into the interior a bit. but yeah with no boat whatsoever your access to WMAs in this state is going to be somewhat limited. you might try Pearl River WMA. I've never even looked into hunting out there so i don't know what access is like, but they may have some areas...
