Gary's propane...Corner of Jackson and Canal. Tracy makes nets, although I don't know if he keeps the nets in the store or not.

There is a man on lower Bayou Blue that makes some 30” nets with heavy rings.

A 24” net covers about 3 square feet. 12x3=36 feet

A 30” net covers about 5 square feet. 12 x 5= 60 feet

Go with the thirty’s if they are in the budget.

Nets are a good quality. But, I had to put bigger floats and longer ropes. Also the webbing is very tight, crabs dont seem to stay put in the bottom when pulling.

Best ones I have were made by the old man by chabert hospital. Hand tied with tar string and galvanized fence rings. Those always out catch any other nets.
