Could these be altered to make a decent pit blind or even a bunker?

Probably. I have seen a pit blind with a door on the end of it, when you opened the door, they have a train cart buried underground with bunk beds, kitchenette etc. Just climb up into your blind in the morning.

Pit blind, yes. Buried bunker?, no.

Either way, enjoy smelling like rotting fruit and shitty diapers.

We had a pit made out of a dumpster at one time. It was just a standard box shaped one, not like the slanted one in your pic. I believe the front was cut down to make it lower than the back so a roof could be added, and of course a bench, steps, etc. Killed a lot of birds out of it

We had one for years. Eventually quit hunting it because all we'd kill were trash ducks.

Throw a little bleach in there when you pressure wash and you'll be fine. Vinegar also if it's extremely bad
