I won some c'mere deer powder at a golf tourney this year. The biggest deer I've had on my cameras to date were in the few days after I put it out. I have not bought any more since because of the astronomical price, but I am convinced that it works.

We tried it, didn't work for us.

By "didn't work" you mean they didn't eat it? That's hard to believe..

"Didn't work" as in it rotted into the ground.

You must hunt in a gar hole.

I don't even know what that means.

My brother in law and I wondered the same thing last year: we dumped out 2 bags of corn about 5 yards away from each other and spayed c'mere deer on one pile and left the other one alone. Deer actually walked up to c'mere deer pile, sniffed it, and walked to the untouched corn pile to eat. Needless to say, we never used the stuff again. This may not prove anything to some, but it was good enough evidence for us.

Spray it on leaves or a stump... Not on the corn. Deer like corn, you don't need to do anything to it.

What were you trying to do, make some type of super corn?
Corn=Corn..just leave it alone and deer will eat it.
I've never tried C'mere deer myself, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Read the back label and the powder is mostly rice brain anyways.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. We weren't trying to make the corn any better - just seeing how deer would react to the c'mere deer. And like I said they wouldn't touch it. Like you said deer eat corn anyway - but they wouldn't touch it with c'mere deer on it.

If I put a two plates infront of you.
Plate A:
Ruth's Chris steak, cooked the way you liked it.
Plate B:
Ruth's Chris steak, not cooked at all with some random sauce on it that smells different.
Which would you choose?

Not sure why your analogy had one steak cooked and one not b/c the corn is the same either way. But if you gave me a cooked Ruth's Chris steak with a sauce on it that I thought smelled good and made the steak more desirable (which is what c'mere deer is supposed to do) and one without the sauce then I would choose the one with the sauce.
