Bought stand last year and just now getting around to using it. frick this shite. I almost died three times and it's only 7 o'clock. Finally got it figured out but I'm scared to climb more than 8 feet off the ground cause I enjoy life.

Dude, climbing stands are safer today than the ones years ago. Safety harnesses are redilly available. 8ft? Really?

I have since ascended to about 10 feet. It's my first time using one. I'm getting used to it, tho. Guess I should have practiced beforehand.

Don't let them pick on you, it's nice to know women don't mind getting their hands dirty and shooting bambi.

Good thing there's leaves at the bottom to soften your fall :)

Ameristep. I do like it in theory. Guess it just takes getting used to.

Only negative once I'm up is having to adjust the seat. Scared off two nice does I didn't even see literally five min ago because I had to stand and adjust my seat.

What he said. Practice around the house at first Certain trees are very difficult to climb especially slick barked hardwoods. Hard to get a bite on them

Careful bro....my nephew has been hospitalized for 3 weeks and is going on his 7th surgery with 4 more expected.

Squirrel ate thru the ladders strap. 25 ft drop. Unstrappes his harness and climbed back up to take ladder down in sections.
