Anybody else fishing it?

Gonna be in bayou St. John in the yak. Drinking beer with dead shrimp on bottom.

Sucks. I don't like cheaters

Did they bring fish from somewhere else or throw some weights down the throat

1 mistakenly entered in wrong direction
2 willfully fished in wrong division

2 of the 3 from the same family

With today's rain you should be able to fish in the tournament while at Hogs for the Cause

I think I'm still gonna go in the yak. I've heard that every year it's right after a cold front and the boats division ends up with a few tiny bass winning it.

Was a pretty fun rodeo. Not a lot caught in the boat division as usual, wind was pretty strong this morning.

After the weigh-in was over, theses dumbass just threw baskets of bass in 6 inch water and left them to die... There were 3 or 4 five pound bass just dying right there on the shoreline... So my dad and I and a couple of really good guys jumped into action and did what we could to revive most fish... Only one didn't make it but it was a small one...

My point is, had we not been there to say/do something, all of these three, four, and five pound fish would have died because of the people running the tournament

I'm not the tree hugging type, but come on.. My pops and I fish there almost every weekend and the guys who have put on this rodeo for 69 years should know better

I was in around the island. One small bass. Under a pound on a watermelon worm. Had a few other bites but they were hitting it short. Wasn't patient enough

I'm pretty sure Northshore won with a 4.1 and 1.5 pounder. Rummel was third.

Not sure, I saw chalmette taking a pic with a garfish after the weigh in so I'm guessing they won that division....

You're talking about the one across from the police station? I was there waiting at 6:00 and fished from 6:30 til about 8 with a hard wind in my face.. Decided it'd be best to look elsewhere. The water was murky as hell with all the wind and rain from the end of the week.. I haven't seen it as bad as it was yesterday this whole year

I caught a tiny bass on a Spro frog fishing right by the Filmore overpass. Nothing else all morning.
