Video of hunt in question

Story goes he is on a hunt in Indiana. Wounded a deer on the first hunt and land owner tells him to go back out. Also tells him there is a big young 8 point and not to shoot it and gives the green light for a big 10. Chris shoots the 8pt and it can be seen running off wounded around 6 min mark in video. About 3 minutes later in the uncut video the big 10 comes out. Chris reloads his muzzleloader and shoots the deer up the arse straight away.

He returns and brags to the landowner about making a “Texas heart shot” on the big 10 and never mentions the 8 pt. After letting the meat of the 10pt spoil due to taking pics and over the course of the next day the land owner is already pissed. Land owner then finds the wasted 8pt dead and has exposed Chris. The video is leaked and several others of his not so warm personality including cussing his camera man lower than snake shite.

Chris has taken down his Facebook page. Expect to see him lose his tv deal as well I’d bet.

He is good with a bow, no doubt. That’s about the only reason I ever watched his show Arrow Affliction. Was obvious he was a huge tool

Another professional hunter douche. And if spoke to me like that he would've been wearing that blind after I stomped his guts out.

I don’t know know who this douchebag is, but I don’t have any respect for these pretty-boy tv deer hunters.

I would've torn that blind to pieces beating his arse with the camera.

I’m all for people learning to use a firearm and hunting. There is a right and wrong way to do it. This guy is a perfect example of what’s wrong with the culture currently. I am 100% against assholes like this. Shows like his have absolutely ruined hunting in many ways and any POS trash using layaway at Walmart suddenly thinks they’re hunters as a result of guys like this.

Ehhh, I don't really see how using layaway makes you a POS or trashy. Plenty of people would rather spread out payments and it is more convenient for poor people.

The majority of people using layaway, specifically at Walmart, are going to be trashy. Not all, sure. The point I was trying to make is that guys like this have set a ridiculous tone for hunting and what that means. It’s less and less about conservation, respect for your fellow hunters, firearms, the animals and land. You see it all of the time in various videos, stories and pictures. Many of which are posted here. A culture has been created and championed in certain segments of society by guys like this that paints a “hunter” as any a-hole with a gun or bow and you should shoot any and everything you see. That’s a problem. I deal with these types often on my 100 acres in BFE WNC and my dad does outside of Walker on his 500 acres there.

Well brackett one upped the situation is for sure. Bill's incident was accidental and the was not handled properly with the green shirts and the other is a guy who shoots a buck with a muzzle loader, reloads it and shoots another buck texas heart shot style. Neither situations are good look for anyone in the hunting industry.
