If anyone is interested in books for children about fly fishing, deer hunting or fresh/salt water fishing here is a website to look at. I have not seen books like this before and thought they were well done.

”Get excited for opening day while sitting around the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories of past hunts!” Come to deer camp and tag along as a family in pursuit of a whitetail buck gets ready for deer season in ‘Deer Camp’.”

My Paw Paw used to read "Bambi" to the youngsters around the campfire at the deer camp to get us all fired up before opening day. It seperated the men from the boys.

Always loved books like this when younger. Remember reading a book called "Hatchet."

Highly recommend getting it for any kids who enjoy the outdoors

My grandson is that age and loves the very busy spider and dada by Jimmy Fallon . I say paw paw instead of dada as he now says dada . Good books . Also loves but not the hippopotamus .
