I'm a diesel power guy but the more cool gasse's that come out the more tempted I get. 550 hp in a gas truck is sweet to me!

I'm a GM guy generally, family owned a dealership for 40 years, but that truck has got to be the ugliest pos I have ever seen.

Probably developed by some Obama wonk in the beltway no work experience hipster.

Do not want.

Hmmm not a fan. 6 seconds doesn't sound overly impressive either. 5.3 with 3.42 rear end was supposedly tested at 6.7 seconds.

Lingenfelter is all about on road performance, Southern Comfort is all about ugly accessories. I don't think this will be very competitive off road.

In terms of capability: Ram Runner > Raptor > Reaper

May be able to throw Toyota's Baja Tacoma ahead of this Reaper too.

Isn't Ford discontinuing the Raptor when the 2015's come out?

I haven't heard discontinuing but I've heard that it won't get the aesthetic upgrades of the 2015 models.

I'm sure it'll get redesigned a year or so after the 2015s go on sale. Ford would be crazy to ax the Raptor all together, they sell the things like hot cakes.

For a niche vehicle, they sell well.

I really like the sand colored one, guy back home has one...only Raptor I'd consider driving. Sand colored, no stickers/graphics, 6.2 V8...it's a badass rig.

Come on now it can't be that bad.

I don't wear either. I think this is so rediculous. Are all F250 drivers soccer dads? I could generalize this.

Then again, the Raptor is tuned by SVT. Although they are part of Ford it isn't "technically" Ford.

And GMPP isn't technically GM? SRT? TRD? NISMO? AMG? The reason they are called "in-house" is because they are wholly owned divisions within the parent company. So yes, SVT is Ford unlike LPE which is a much GM as Brabus is Mercedes. Stick to 1911's on this one.

All that said this is a crappy attempt. I guess the best that can be said is that it actually has the ground clearance now to allow a decent drain pan for an oil change.

so do I

the raptor without the graphics is a sharp looking truck

i don't see how its any different than putting a small lift kit and AT/mud tires on a regular half ton

i believe the graphics give the raptor a bad rep, but they are optional.....frick they are a 2K option....thats ridiculous

If it didn't have all the stickers and had a regular grill it would look good. I like the hood.

I have the graphics on the rear. Didn't want them but they didn't charge me for them either but were going to charge to take them off. Mine is black so at night you barely see the graphics and it looks ok. Daytime they look blue. I have just left them on until I get the entire thing wrapped this summer. Going charcoal

You have a crew cab or extended cab? 5.4 or 6.2?
