.40 is more snappy than .45 and this one will probably be heavier than yours

Recoil won't be bad at all.

Seriously, weapon that pretty is a work of art. I could t buy anything that pretty because I would just frame it and hang it on a wall.

That looks too pretty to fire. More like art.

Thedice doesn't know what he is talking about. Bapple found this gun for me at Jim's a few weeks ago. We put some rounds through it last Friday.

Recoil wasn't that bad at all, in fact, I felt my xdm in .40 had a lot more recoil than the 1911 in .45 ACP.

The only difference between Carson's and yours is the color. But yours is still pretty awesome. And that scandium really is unbelievably light when I held it in my hand and compared it to my all-steel full sized in the other. Here's my lineup from our range outing:

The SW1911SC is not bad on recoil at all. Obviously it's a bit more punchy than my full sized one, but not bad at all. The bobtail felt great, the sights were good, the trigger was smooth, and the gun ran like a top with 3 or 4 different magazines.

You'll love it Carson.

Looks like an awfully fat grip unless it is a pic angle. How does it feel?

Not at all. It is simply a "bobtail", meaning instead of coming to a point like a regular 1911, it's rounded off for carry.

Look at my picture to compare them. They are both slim and very easy to hold.
